Blair Schachterle – Clinic Director
BScPT, Dip Manip PT, Dip Sport PT, FCAMT, CGIMS

Active ImageBlair has been a Physical Therapist at Nose Creek Sport Physical Therapy since 2001. Blair graduated from the University of Alberta with a BScPT in 1992. He has focussed on Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and Sport Therapy for the last 14 years. Blair completed his Sport Therapy Diploma in 1997, and his Advanced Manual and Manipulative Diploma in 1998. Blair is also certified for IMS (Intra-Muscular Stimulation) or Dry Needling.

Blair has a keen interest in an active rehabilitation of recent and chronic spinal and peripheral joint and muscle injuries. He enjoys treating upper neck pain that is associated with Cervical Tension Headaches, Sciatica (Pinched Nerve in Lower back), shoulder injuries, and traumatic knee injuries. Blair is currently the executive Chair of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (CAMT).

Blair balances his busy professional life by staying active. He enjoys running, cycling, swimming, working out, hiking, camping and snowboarding depending on the season. Blair shares his “free-time” with his wife Rhonda outside on the weekends. He has learned to enjoy the journey, as Life is really too short.

In February of 2006, I fell and broke my knee cap. My cast was removed in April and I immediately started on a rehabilitation program with Blair. I had 3 previous surgeries on this knee as well as the break. Blair designed a program for me that included both an in-clinic workout and exercises that I could do at home. I found the environment at NCSPT to be very positive, supportive and professional. My recovery has been nothing short of remarkable and am in better shape than before I broke the kneecap. Blair is amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending both him and NCSPT.
