Physiotherapist
Nose Creek Sport Physical Therapy is the Alberta leader in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Physiotherapy.

Nose Creek Sport Physical Therapy is currently seeking physiotherapists to join our expanding practice. We only hire physical therapists who are seriously interested in pursuing their post graduate diplomas in manual and manipulative therapy and sport therapy.

PERMANENT FULL TIME position available.

Days: 5 days per week.

Hours: TBA

Qualifications Required:

  • Baccalaureate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta.
  • Member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • New grads are welcome to apply.
  • 2 years experience preferred.
  • Manual Skills.
  • Level II preferred.

Interest and/or experience in the following would be an asset:

Acupuncture, Acute Care, Ergonomics, Orthopaedics, Sports Therapy/Medicine, IMS, Arthritis

Duties:
Assessment, treatment and management of MVA, WCB, sports injuries and post-operative patients. Willing to join a growing dynamic team of committed physical therapists involved in post-graduate training. Commitment to continuing expansion of your skills. Strong emphasis on manual therapy and active rehabilitation experience.

Additional information:
Interest and experience in the following would be an asset: post-graduate, continuing education in manual therapy, IMS, acupuncture and sport therapy, community involvement with clubs or teams, enjoy doing presentations and talking to people, excellent communicator to funders. Update your skills in this motivated environment in addition to earning valuable funding for continued education. Financial support for post grad education provided. We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude and excellent patient rapport to join our team.

Clinical Mentorship Program

Nose Creek Physical Therapy provides 2 separate packages, one for students and one for preceptors. The student package provides a database to help them set up their clinical mentorship hours and contains information to guide them in designing their clinical education program. The Preceptor package help to design effective mentorship formats for students and to guide them through filling out the Database appropriately.
